Raised by parents who were teachers, and also coming from a long line of home- builders, Alicia has artfully blended this upbringing into a creative base that serves her well in her real estate career. Alicia taught elementary school for 20 years, spending most of her teaching career with Columbia Schools, in Brooklyn, Michigan. In 2015, with college on the horizon for her three children, she obtained her real estate license and began work as a realtor, while still continuing to teach full time. Alicia decided to step out of the classroom in 2020, and began a full time career in real estate. It was an exciting and relevant change to be able to use her teaching skills to help educate clients in the process of buying or selling their home. As well as assisting clients with their real estate needs, Alicia and her husband Mike, enjoy opportunities to rehabilitate and renovate homes together. These endeavors also tap into Alicia’s love of interior design, and the creative staging process in preparing homes for sale.
Alicia was born and raised in Jackson, Michigan and currently resides in Brooklyn with her husband. They treasure their time with their three grown children, their spouses, and three beautiful grandchildren. Alicia enjoys playing golf and pickleball, and serving on the worship team at Found Church in downtown Jackson.
