Tad French and Mike Hay have been helping solve real estate problems for 20 years.
They put their heart into listening to and understanding their clients, helping them sort out
their options, and finding a solution that is best for them given their current situation.

Tad's first stint in real estate began in failure as he was a real estate investor who lost his business in the real estate crash from 2007-2010. This failure became his catalyst to become not only a successful real estate professional but also a successful investor. In 2007, Tad became a full time real estate agent and worked hard to increase his clientele and his knowledge of the local real estate market as well as his understanding of the many aspects of being a real estate advisor.
Learning from his mistakes and continuing to strive forward, he has gained wisdom and knowledge as well as market share in his profession. Today, Tad is the Co-Founder and Associate Broker for Heart for Homes, LLC where he continues to advise clients in the process of buying and selling homes and work with sellers who have properties in distressed situations.
Mike grew up in Spring Arbor and attended Western High School. After graduating with a business degree from MSU, he worked for a large company but quickly realized that he wanted to work for himself and became a full time real estate investor in 2003.
Unfortunately, this first stint would be short lived, as the market for real estate collapsed during the great financial crisis that began in 2007. Mike then became a commercial real estate appraiser and would go on to appraise some of the most complex properties throughout the State of Michigan over the next several years.
However, his desire to spend his time doing his true passion, investing in real estate, never wavered. By 2015, he was back as a full time real estate entrepreneur. In addition to being a certified general real estate appraiser, Mike is a licensed builder, and has successfully managed the rehabilitation of many properties over the last several years.
Mike currently lives in Chelsea with his wife, Heather. He is an avid runner and enjoys watching sports and spending time with his family.
“When I wake up in the morning, I don’t care if it’s a week day or on the weekend, because I either get to go to work or spend time with my family, both things that I love to do.”
